Neil Fairbrother, Director of Cricket
The cricketers in the ISM stable have developed to such an extent over the past 12 months that they now form the mainstay of the England team. Neil Fairbrother joined ISM as its Director of Cricket when he retired from the first class game after a glittering career with Lancashire and England.
Neil spent 21 years with the Red Rose county, not only averaging more than 40, but also coming close to completing a half century of centuries. Although he played 10 times for England's Test team he is best remembered at international level for his outstanding contribution to the one-day side. He scored more than 2,000 runs at an average of 39.47, establishing himself as one of the world's greatest limited over specialists as batsman and fielder.
